Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) has commenced a three-day sensitization training on the issues of staff Integrity and Customer Care organized by the Internal Affairs Unit under the Office of the Commissioner General on July 8, 2024.
The opening of this significant training session was graced by the Commissioner General, Mr. Yankuba Darboe, who emphasized the importance of taking this training seriously. He highlighted that integrity is a cornerstone of our operations and essential for maintaining public trust.
Mr. Darboe also underscored the vital role of the Internal Affairs Unit, which was established following recommendations from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This unit is crucial in ensuring our practices align with international standards and promote transparency and accountability within the GRA.
Mr. Darboe further encouraged all participants to fully engage in this training and apply the knowledge gained to uphold the highest standards of integrity in their professional duties.
